Online seminar COMPETING
All inland waterway navigation schools and training institutes please pay attention! We would like to invite you to the first online seminar about the outcomes of project COMPETING. During this seminar we will explain how to adapt or adopt the new and harmonised inland navigation educational material. The last three years a consortium of various European Inland navigation educational institutions and social partners joined forces to work on seven competencies and the accompanying teaching materials, both at operational and management level. The competencies include navigation, ship operation, cargo handling, stowage and passenger transport, maritime engineering and electrical, electronical and control engineering, maintenance and repair, communication and health, and safety and environmental protection. In the coming months we are organising several online seminars to inform you about the developed educational material and to guide you on how you can adapt or adopt it. This event is especially relevant for those who are responsible for the curricula or lesson content at inland navigation schools and training institutions. Please do register for the first edition of the Online COMPETING seminar series!
